About Hoang
I'm Gam - Emma, a certified full-time Vietnamese teacher. My journey of teaching Vietnamese started 8 years ago and until now it has become my favorite thing to be able to introduce Vietnamese language and Vietnamese culture to international friends. One of the reasons I teach Vietnamese is that I love the language. Language learning for me is a very exciting journey and through learning new languages, I can also understand my students while learning Vietnamese. Perfect! Hoang structured the lesson in a very systematic way as she taught pronunciation. She was patient and incorporated lots of examples and repetition. I really enjoyed the lesson and her presentation!
Perfect! I found her teaching style very helpful, it’s been a very long time since I’ve been in the teacher/student setting and she is very patient and is able to answer all my questions and explain things in a way that makes it easier to pick up the language.

Perfect! Hoang (Emma) is excellent. She is very structured with study materials to help with practice. She is encouraging while also letting you know when something is not quote right. She offers advice on things like how to shape your mouth to get the sounds right. She is patient with you and makes lessons fun. And she keeps things focused and moving during the lesson so you always feel you have accomplished a lot.

Perfect! Hoang is a great tutor. She is helping me become conversational by having conversations in Vietnamese. She is very enjoyable to talk to! Our lessons are very fun. She also teaches me new vocabulary and sentence structures.
