As a tutor, my main priority would be to ensure I am explaining concepts clearly and concisely, where every detail aligns with the specifications of the student’s exam board. I would prioritise the student’s needs by planning lessons around their desired topics, focusing on building confidence in answering exam questions. I can be flexible with timings and lesson durations and would not hesitate to assist with work outside of the lesson time if needed. I have been working both as a Teacher’s assistant and a tutor for 3 years.
