About Dhiraj
Hi, I’m Dhiraj. I’m a Functional Business Analyst at a Big 4 consulting firm. I’ve led and supported digital transformation projects for major Australian organisations including VicRoads, Australia Post, Adelaide University, Allianz, Tourism Australia and more.
I focus on bridging business needs and technology by helping teams design solutions using clear documentation, structured requirements and strong collaboration between business, UX and development teams.
I have delivered large-scale initiatives involving Salesforce, AWS, Adobe AEM and enterprise system modernisation, giving me firsthand experience with how functional BAs operate inside complex delivery environments.
Through my mentorship, I teach the real skills that make BAs valuable in the field:

1. Understanding the BA Role – The difference between Business, Functional, and Technical BAs, and where you fit in digital projects.
2. Requirements Elicitation & Workshops – How to run stakeholder interviews, ask the right questions, and document outcomes effectively.
3. Business & Functional Documentation – Writing BRDs, FSDs, and Confluence pages with clear assumptions, dependencies, and functional flows.
4. User Stories & Acceptance Criteria – Translating requirements into Jira-ready stories that developers and testers can execute on.
5. Process Mapping & Systems Thinking – Creating process and data flow diagrams, ED tables, and understanding integrations (Salesforce, APIs, AWS).
6. Jira & Confluence Mastery – Hands-on sessions covering real project workflows, traceability, and linking requirements to delivery tasks.
7. UAT & Traceability – Managing test cases, defect tracking, and maintaining alignment between requirements and delivery.
8. Stakeholder Communication – Presenting findings, managing feedback, and running effective project handovers.
