Fun reading tutor with 10+ years experience provides lessons for grades K-8

I offer a free 30 minute introductory lesson/consultation to discuss students’ learning needs, goals, and interests to help determine if I am the best fit for them and to help guide my future lessons should they choose to proceed with my services. Additionally, I do not charge a cancellation fee.

For all lessons I use free or low-cost resources from a variety of sources such as local libraries, teachers pay teachers, Khan Academy, and Readworks at no additional cost to students/parents. For in-person lessons, I also provide physical copies of worksheets, writing materials (pens, pencils, blank paper), basic art supplies (construction paper, colored pencils, crayons, markers) at no additional cost to students. Students may also bring their own supplies if they wish. Reading comprehension students in grades 4 through 8 will need to be able to obtain their own copy of whatever book we will be studying. Book choices will be made based on student interests, lesson needs, and student’s ability to obtain a copy.
