About Nathan
Hi, I’m Nathan! I’m passionate about helping young learners build confidence and enjoy maths. I understand that every child is unique, and I take a patient, fun, and creative approach to teaching. I create a positive and encouraging environment where children feel supported, no matter their starting point. As someone who struggled with learning in school, I know how challenging it can be when the traditional methods don’t work for you. This experience taught me the importance of adapting to each child’s individual learning style. I bring enthusiasm, dedication, and personal experience to my tutoring, which helps me connect with kids and make lessons enjoyable and effective. My goal is to inspire confidence and make maths something your child can look forward to. Whether they’re struggling or simply need extra support, I’m here to help them thrive!

My Approach to Tutoring: I focus on making learning fun, engaging, and stress-free for children aged 10 and under. My teaching style is creative and interactive, using games, stories, and hands-on activities to make maths enjoyable. I understand that every child learns differently, so I take the time to adapt my lessons to suit their individual needs and pace. What Makes Me Different: I’m a patient and supportive tutor who is ready to help any child, no matter who they are or where they’re starting from. I believe every child has the potential to succeed, and I create a safe and positive environment where they feel encouraged to learn and grow. Qualifications and Experience: While I don’t have formal training, I bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for helping children learn. During my time in school, I noticed that traditional teaching assumes everyone learns the same way, but I’ve learned through trial and error that each child has their own unique learning style. I take the time to understand how each child learns best and tailor my teaching approach to fit their needs. Having received a C in maths, I also know how it feels to face challenges, and I can break concepts down into simple, relatable steps.
