About Justin
I am a full-time professional Musician, Freelance Session Guitarist and Producer. I have been teaching guitar (Acoustic and Electric), Slide Guitar and Banjo for the last 6 years. I studied Improvisation/Performance at Victorian College Of The Arts and Music Industry/Sound at RMIT.

Having had many teachers and tutors over the years I experienced many different styles and methods of learning. The best method and one I have taken into my own teaching is the emphasis on getting the student comfortable and excited to express themselves musically. I aim to get my students playing and exploring their creativity on the instrument in a fun and structured program. A lot of teachers will begin their tuition going straight into music theory which sees a lot of students not enjoying guitar and giving them a false perception that learning music is boring and unattainable without having a complete understanding of the theory first.
I approach my lessons with getting to know the students music taste and what they want to achieve in lessons and tailor their program around that, with a series of small reachable goals the notion of mastering the instrument no longer seems overwhelming.
I teach a range of different styles and instruments ranging from acoustic guitar/electric guitar/bass/slide guitar and banjo.
