A little about me: I grew up in a very international and multicultural community, and I love connecting with people from all over the world. I am TEFL certified and have taught ESL students for over 10 years, ranging from ages 3 to 65. My lessons are fun, interactive, and great for all ages and levels. Every lesson plan will be tailored to your skill level, learning style, interests and needs.
In our first session together, I will
- ask you what your goals and challenges are in learning english
- do a basic skills assessment
- determine your learning style
- invite you to ask any questions, topics, or concepts you may want to explore
- offer a selection of practice activities
- assign you homework
- share several online resources you can use to enhance your learning beyond our lessons
Each lesson will follow a general structure that begins with a recap of the previous lesson, and an invitation for you to ask questions you may have before we move on. We will practice different techniques to solidify your learning and understanding, and I will give you homework to do before we meet again :)
