About Karmen
I am a fully qualified Mathematics teacher currently working at UCS, who also has experience teaching in grammar schools including QE boys in Barnet and The Latymer School in Edmonton. I have also tutored privately both face to face and online for several years (1200 hours and counting), with students ranging from 5-18 years with a focus on 11-18 year olds. I also offer 7+, 11+ and 13+ entrance exam tutoring, with a proven track record of success. I am an Imperial College Physics graduate and gained my PGCE qualification from Oxford university.

As both a classroom teacher and a one-to-one teacher, I have a wealth of experience with students with different needs, abilities, strengths and weaknesses. I am able to easily adapt to the student and am quick to find a teaching method that they learn best and most quickly with. I aim to firstly create a strong foundation in the topic, and then stretch and challenge them to their full potential.
