About Flora
I am a passionate and enthusiastic Science and 11+ tutor. I am a masters graduate of Mechanical Engineering of University of Leeds and have a PGCE from King’s College London. I am a full time teacher at a reputable private school in London and have over two years of private tutoring experience on the side.
I have pursued a career in physics, engineering and education to date and am keen to bring my passion to a role where I can influence the minds of the future. I am positive, energetic and creative with my tutoring and hope that this goes someway to making my students share my deep love for my subject.
Whilst working in the private sector I have been directly involved with running and marking the 11+ exams. I have also helped run the 11+ interviews for my current school so have a very good idea of the process and how to best help your child into their chosen school.

All in the way of promoting children's understanding of the complex subjects of science and maths. I appreciate the challenging conceptual nature of physics and have a strong belief that everyone has the ability to succeed if they are given the right opportunity and support.
