About Georgina
I love teaching my passion to others! Maths is a subject that is unfairly dismissed by many and through teaching and tutoring I aim to convert all students into confident, maths-loving individuals! I take a calm and supportive approach and all students work in a safe environment where they are not scared of making mistakes. It is only through mistakes that we learn and this is vital for progression in the future. I give regular feedback to parents and students.

My lessons are targeted to the student depending on their needs and I offer prior assessment to understand academic and confidence levels and I target the following areas/students... - Special educational needs - GCSE - A level - Confidence building no matter the academic level - Fast knowledge gap filling - Exam technique - General revision of classwork/homework I hold the following qualifications... BSc Mathematics, Queen Mary University of London PGCE Secondary Mathematics I have been Ofsted rated 'outstanding' I am available for either homeschooling or daytime work and also afternoon/evening tutoring services. Maths is my passion and I love sharing it with my students. I really pride myself on breaking up complex concepts into easy to manage chunks/strategies and feedback from my students has always been that I make maths easier to understand. I am a friendly and approachable person who puts time and energy into fully understanding the needs of the student. I can relate to student struggles and I put effort into building confidence with my knowledge but also my supportive and friendly approach to learning. I have extensive experience working with both special needs right through to the most gifted students and I believe that all students can and should make progress no matter what their ability. No student should ever be left behind. I also have past experience preparing students for the 11+ mathematics/non-verbal examinations for grammar schools.
