About William
I have been teaching for 7 years in and around the Newcastle area. In that time I have developed my teaching strategies to be able to support a wide variety of learners.
I specialise in Physics with a particular interest in helping pupils see that the subject is not as complicated or as difficult as it may first seem. By breaking down complicated concepts into manageable chunks and then providing clear explanations my pupils develop a sound understanding of the subject.

My teaching style is patient and encouraging.
I believe in order for pupils to achieve their best we must start by assessing what they already know before then building on their knowledge. My lessons are fun and interactive making use of a range of assessment techniques as well as delivering new content in an engaging manner - it has been shown that pupils learn more when they are active in the lesson.
I currently teach in a secondary school and therefore I am able to offering tutoring to pupils aged 11-18. I typically recommend that lessons last 1-2 hours depending on the age of the pupil.
