About Rebekah
I am a nurturing, enthusiastic teacher who builds strong relationships with learners and families to create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. My time in the classroom has supported me to develop a calm and consistent approach to behaviour, provide support to learners with additional needs, and be adaptable to promote regulation and independence. I’m passionate about play-based learning and love creating engaging, child-led experiences that support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing. I work closely with families through regular communication on Google Classroom and the school Twitter account, and I enjoy being part of the wider school community through involvement in working groups, events, and cross-stage support. My goal is always to help each child feel confident, valued, and excited to learn

My lessons are carefully planned to be engaging, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of all learners. I use a mixture of structured teaching, hands-on activities, and play-based approaches to ensure children stay motivated and enjoy learning. I differentiate tasks to provide the right level of challenge and support, using visual aids, practical resources, and collaborative activities to help children access learning in ways that suit them best. I build routines that help learners feel secure, and I regularly check in on progress to adapt my teaching. Whether it's through imaginative writing, active maths games, or calming literacy tasks, I aim to create lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence.
