About Harry
I'm Harry, a full time tutor at a local state school. I would like to privately tutor to further develop my own ability and explore more one-to-one teaching methods.
I pride myself on maintaining professionalism whilst creating an atmosphere where students feel comfortable to ask questions and get things wrong (that's part of learning!).

My teaching is based on the student I am working with. I like to begin by identifying the areas where they struggle and excel, tailoring lessons to both boost skills they already have and improve gaps in their knowledge.
I also focus heavily on exam technique and revision, these are both areas I spent a lot of time perfecting at university and believe they are just as important as learning the course content.
My lessons are best suited for those in Year 9, 10 or 11 who are working at a foundation level in maths. Although I am open to working with students taking higher too.
