My 12 year old son has been going to Coach David since he was 10 years old. When Cole started with Coach David he was pretty new to baseball and did not understand any of the fundamentals, he could not stop a ground ball, could not catch a fly ball and could not make contact as a hitter. Our first session with Coach David was all we needed to know we found the right person to help Cole. Coach David knew how to teach Cole in a way he could understand and retain the information. David starts with a from the ground up strategy, get the first part of the foundation correct before you move forward to the next level. This process gave my son a sense of accomplishment after each session, and an excitement when he moved forward.

Coach David's Techniques showed results pretty quickly. Cole started hitting and fielding like he had been doing it for years, coaches and parents had no idea he had only been playing baseball for a short period of time and they could not believe his advancement. Within 6 months of starting with Coach David, Cole decided to try out for travel baseball and he made the team. He now is one of the best hitters on his team, his fielding and knowledge of the game became so advanced they put him as starting shortstop. None of this would be possible without Coach David.

As Cole started advancing in baseball he would play in bigger tournaments throughout California. One tournament I will never forget, Cole was hitting everything with power and in the gaps against really good pitching, I looked at him after the tournament and said "Coach David is a pretty good coach, he knows his stuff", Cole looked at me with a scowl and said "No, he is a GREAT Coach". My son looks forward to each session he has with Coach David, as long as coach David coaches, my son will be going to him.

I had originally been looking for a batting coach for our daughter (12) who had just played her first season of softball when our son (15) mentioned he was interested in playing high school baseball. Our son had never played baseball and I knew it would take some effort to get him ready and in a position to try out. We found Coach David and both our son and daughter started seeing him regularly every Sunday from May 2022 until about December 2022. Coach David has not only exceeded my expectations of a coach/trainer but my kids as well. He was always positive, explained everything to the kids and the reason for that technique or warm-up and why it was important. He also had multiple ways of explaining the same thing to the kids until they grasped what it was he was trying to get them to accomplish. Both of the kid's softball and baseball skills, IQs and confidence in the game improved immensely along with their abilities. Well, all of Coach David's dedication and hard work along with my son's work ethic paid off! Remember my son had NEVER played baseball in his life and after only 8 months in training with coach David he made his High School Baseball team!!! Thank You, Coach David! You are the best!

When we first moved to Temecula, we did not know anyone but I was referred to coach David by one of his teammates mom. My son was having trouble swinging the bat and could not hit the ball that well which got him frustrated and mad. This made me very sad to watch. I decided to go to coach David and it's one of the absolute best decisions I have ever made for my son! I sent him to coach David's baseball camp and he learned so much and had a ton of fun that we decided to start with private lessons. His hitting has gone from horrible to terrific, from being in the bottom of the batting order to the top of the batting order. Just an amazing change. His fielding was doing ok, but, coach David took it to another level with much better mechanics and understanding. That's the thing, coach David not only teaches him great mechanics, but, gives him the why it works and he sees the results. Coach David has a gift to relate to kids on their level to get them to believe in themselves. Just amazing!

My grandson started with coach David 6 months ago and it has been such an amazing transformation since he started in every aspect of his game! WOW! I am a former top baseball player and know the game very well and coach David's approach to teaching his students is very insightful, very effective, and easy for my grandson to understand to quickly apply. His confidence is now through the roof, his strength is so much better due to coach David's strength training, and his respect for the game and approach to it is so much better because of coach David's lessons. My grandson has gone from hardly getting hits in games to getting hits in almost every game. He went from a mediocre fielder to being the best fielder on his team, and he went from never pitching to being a great pitcher! I highly recommend coach David Bennett!

We wanted to express our gratitude to coach David for all he has done to help Jacob. Since he started training with you 6 months ago in March of this year, we've seen a great deal of growth. His overall skill level and confidence have dramatically increased. Jacob struggled last Spring season and his confidence was low. He had all but given up on the sport. But as a result of coach David's teaching, his batting, fielding, and throwing have greatly improved. He is stronger physically and mentally because coach David coaches strength and mental training as well, not just mechanics . Jacob understands the fundamentals and is able to self correct, when needed, and he once again, loves baseball. He actually made the all star team at the end of the current season! We look forward to watching him grow and develop as coach David continues teaching him.

We have been so impressed with Coach David and the way he teaches our son. We have seen Ryan's strength improve. He is throwing the ball harder and swinging the bat with more intensity. We have noticed an improvement in Ryan's balance and overall athleticism. He seems to be taking wider stances and bending his knees more often and hitting so much better. Ryan has a better mechanical understanding as well. He knows better how to move with improved form in a fluid manner when throwing and batting. The way coach David teaches Ryan is so much different and much better than other coaches we have encountered. He gives him the understanding of how something works, not just teaches to do something, so he has the mindset to improve it on his own. We also see an improved confidence in Ryan. Coach David is the only coach that we have seen actually teach mental toughness. He teaches Ryan how to not let mistakes overwhelm him (as he did in the past). He's able to more quickly move on and prevent mistakes from snowballing into more serious problems. Finally, we see a new understanding in Ryan of the overall majesty of baseball. He has a deeper level of respect for his gear and the game in general because Coach David has taught Ryan to respect his equipment and respect the game of baseball. We look forward to continued growth in all these areas and others. Coach David is the best coach Ryan has ever had!

We started with Coach David at the end of a rough season of fall ball in Little League. Our twin boys love the sport but were missing the fundamentals and mechanics needed to be successful in the games. After months of working with Coach David one son has hit 2 home runs (among other hits at other games), starts as pitcher and has improved immensely. Our other son has hit one home run and a triple in our latest game (and has had hits consistently at games all season!). This is a huge improvement from not a single hit from either of them in Fall Ball last season. Coach David has taught the boys how to grip the ball properly and how to stand and prep themselves at bat with the correct bat grip, feet position and arm positions. In addition he has worked them up from barely hitting off his tee correctly to using the pitching machine to bat. One of my sons wanted to be a pitcher but was struggling. He worked with Coach David on ball grip, standing positions, eye level tips, and breathing. He was trying to throw so fast but coach David got him to slow down with his breathing and work on accuracy. He now plays consistently as pitcher for his team and went from walking 5 players any time he pitched to striking the first 3 batters out in a recent game. He's also taught us how to care properly for his arm and exercises to do at home to not overwork it. My other son is a catcher. Coach David has taught him the different stances, how to hold the glove, position his hand and move to block the ball. He now catches at least one inning in every game. Prior to lessons with Coach David my sons were throwing rainbows. He has taught them how to throw properly in order to make plays in the game. He showed them out to grip the ball, how to position your body and how your throwing arm should be throughout the entire throw. He works on fielding with them and has taught them the proper technique so they don't miss defensive plays. At every lesson he warms the kids up with exercises that actually make sense to what they'll be doing later. They include certain form that they'll be using in throwing, catching and batting. Coach David is unbelievably patient with the boys. He has worked with them for more than 6 months and is always positive and the boys look forward to going. Their confidence has grown immensely and you can see it on the field. Not only has he improved their physical skills playing the game but how the game is played. They are constantly vocal about where the play is to their teammates and know more about baseball now than ever before. They try to teach their teammates what Coach David tells them! We couldn't be happier with their progress and have recommended coach David to many people. After people see our boys play they ask us who their private coach is and we very enthusiastically tell them COACH DAVID is the best!

Our 11 year old started taking baseball lessons since March 2022 and we have seen a significant increase in his skills and discipline with Coach David. His confidence in his skills has sky rocketed! The different coaching styles and his motivation have taken a toll on him mentally and emotionally as each season has progressed. With that stated we knew we had to make a change, we had to look for consistency in coaching. We had to find someone with expertise and knowledge in the game, skills and have experience connecting with youth. Aaron started off lessons with a lack of confidence and improper form and technique in his hitting. Fast forward to today 3 months later and he is demonstrating a stronger sense of empowerment and is correcting his form. He seems very deliberate in his practice and is very motivated to continue improving and getting stronger. He presented interest in pitching and with very few lessons with Coach David he has been executing more accurate and fast pitching as well as throwing with better form and follow through. Aaron is fielding with improved speed and agility after every session. He takes every instruction to heart and is more excited until the next session. Coach David's teaching style is key in allowing Aaron to unlock his potential so early on. He is definitely benefiting from your lessons and will for years to come! What he has learned thus far has proved to be crucial for his overall success in the sport. When before his team baseball coach would overlook Aarons requests to take part in pitching and rotating on the field. And now after Coach David teaching, the team coach has looked to Aaron as his clutch player with recommendations this season to enter the home run derby this on behalf of his team. We regard Coach David as one of the best coaches and mentors Aaron has ever had in baseball!

I would like to take a moment to thank you for Iker's improvement in baseball. I love your teaching technique, I can tell you care about the safety and well being of the kids you coach. I enjoy seeing my son learn the fundamentals and put it into practice every game, not only the physical work that goes into baseball but mentally as well. Ever since he started his training with you, I've noticed he has more confidence every time he's up to bat (considering last season he didn't make a single hit). So far he has played 4 games in which he always hits a double to the outfield and brings a lot of runners home. He is now considered the best player on his team when last year he didn't get any hits! He's a catcher and now he is a closing pitcher (keep in mind he has never pitched before nor been considered as a pitcher) and that is all your coaching to teach him how to pitch. A lot of parents come to me asking what is he doing different and I told them the truth, he has an amazing coach that takes the time to teach proper techniques and fix bad habits one on one. There is a lot of competition out there for private coaches but let me say none of them are like coach David. He is so patient with the kids and understands their needs, he is aware that every kid is different and learns in a different way so he always adapts to the kid he is currently coaching to best fit the athlete's needs. His coaching method has helped my son improve tremendously. He is absolutely the BEST!

Our son started going to Coach David at the end of November 2021, after fall ball ended. Just after a couple lessons we noticed a BIG change for the better happening. He is hitting so much better, throwing more accurately, and more confident! Wow! We love how he's teaching the fundamentals and how a player becomes stronger and more aware of his mechanics to self correct. Our son Cason notices his changes as well and feels Coach helped him progress faster and even Cason says he feels more confident. Cason likes how coach David explains WHY the correct mechanics are important so that he actually understands what he is being taught. Spring ball has started back up and just after one practice Cason's team coaches are seeing how much better and stronger of a player Cason is. We love seeing our son's amazing growth in just 2 months time! We wholeheartedly and highly recommend Coach David!

Austin has improved dramatically in all aspects of his game since Coach David began teaching him just a few months ago! You have built him from the ground up and explain everything as you go. He has learned how to maintain balance and gain power as a hitter that he never had before by any other coach he has had. He now throws so much better as a pitcher with proper mechanics which has improved his accuracy and confidence. You have shown him how to build arm strength, how to stretch his arms and body to prevent injuries, how to breathe, stride, and how to correct common mistakes he was making. He has become one hundred percent a better pitcher and hitter than he was before seeing you! We are truly thankful for all you have done for him and I can't wait to see how much more he will improve!

Both of my daughters play softball and have made significant hitting improvement within just 2 months of working with Coach Dave. My youngest is 8, plays on a select team, and is now standing out amongst her peers after lessons with Coach Dave. She now understands better hitting mechanics and can time the faster pitchers. My oldest is 11 and Coach has been able to immediately fix some bad habits and she too is putting the bat on the ball at the highest levels of competition for her age. Coach Dave is a true teacher, with positive energy that never ceases and produces great students out of my daughters. They look forward to their lessons every week!

Luke has improved quite a bit in the two months he has been working with Coach Dave. His throwing in pitching has improved quite a bit in terms of accuracy. The biggest area of improvement has been his hitting. His swing has improved tremendously and Coach Dave has helped him hit with more power and confidence. Luke was not swinging during his at-bats (lots of walks and strikeouts) before coming to Coach Dave. Now Luke is swinging and getting hits. Recently, Luke crushed a line drive to left field, which was the hardest and furthest I have ever seen him hit the ball! Luke ended the last game of the season going 3 for 3! I have already sent another family member with their child to him. I highly recommend Coach Dave!

I have 2 boys that were falling behind in baseball and no longer enjoying it. They struggled with many areas like hitting, throwing, and fielding. My son plays on an elite level travel team and I was looking for a fielding instructor for him. I found Coach David on this website
and he has been incredible! His travel coach is a former MLB player who could not help him, but Coach David has helped him improve
dramatically from the very first lesson. He continues to get better each week. Even his teammates commented about how much better

When I started looking for a coach for my son, I knew it had to be someone special and patient with my son. My son had played high school baseball, but his father died and no longer was
motivated to play. Coach David not only made it fun for him again, but he got really motivated and passionate to play and very quickly improved better than before his dad died. Coach David has been amazing with my son! My son is athletic but had issues with throwing the ball straight and long distance. After just 1 hour with Coach David, my son was already
throwing longer and straight. He made it easier for my son to understand what he was doing wrong and apply it quickly to see results right away. My son told me that Coach David makes
it fun and he wants to listen to Coach David because he see’s how he is getting better.

We looked around in San Marcos and Carlsbad but couldn’t find a good coach for my son. We then found Coach David on this website and couldn’t be happier. We are so happy with him that we are driving an hour away every week to get his teaching. My son plays on a travel team and was in a slump with his hitting. I tried several other coaches and no one could seem to help him. Then we found Coach David and in his very first lesson with him, he already made amazing improvement. He starting hitting even better in games than he used to. Frank has never pitched in his life but since we have been working with Coach David, he is now one of the best pitchers on his team. My son is on a travel team and I couldn’t find someone who could take my son’s hitting to the next level until we found Coach David. My son’s hitting has drastically improved and now hits in the top of the lineup. He has also taught my son to move his feet and receive the ball to make him a much better infielder with more accurate throws. He is very good with kids in getting them to understand what he is teaching them and then do it.

We just started with Coach David but my son has already improved so much in just a few lessons. I like the fact that he also teaches good manners and life skills.
