About Lumi
As a singer and educator with a DMA in Vocal Performance and over 3 years of teaching, I’ve discovered that adults bring something special to learning music — life experience. My work focuses on beginners and returning singers who want to enjoy their voices again. Lessons are gentle, mindful, and designed to build confidence. Breath control, relaxation, and posture are key tools we develop together. I view singing as a full-body experience that connects the mind, breath, and heart. My goal is to help you sing freely, without judgement. Whether you dream of joining a choir or simply singing at home, your voice deserves care and attention. My teaching draws on Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult music, blending structure with playfulness. You’ll learn to release tension, explore tone, and find balance in every note. Singing can be your creative outlet and your calm. Let’s rediscover the joy of music, one mindful breath at a time.

Singing is about connection — between breath, body, and emotion. My approach helps singers find that connection and turn it into confident sound. I focus on discovering each student’s natural vocal timbre and guiding it towards its best version. Lessons begin with breath management and vocal relaxation to support a healthy foundation. We build resonance and tone through focused exercises that improve projection and clarity. You’ll also learn how to master vocal qualities like head voice, chest voice, mixed voice, and belting with comfort and control. I teach both soloists in training and adult beginners with equal care. For beginners, lessons are about comfort and curiosity. For soloists, we develop expression, style, and performance skills. I create an open, encouraging environment where your voice can grow without pressure. We celebrate progress, not perfection. Each lesson strengthens technique while building artistic confidence. Together, we’ll unlock your natural sound and enjoy the process of discovering it.
