About Angelica
Hi, I’m Angelica, a Software Engineering student at UNSW with a strong foundation in Math and problem-solving.
I am confident teaching primary and junior high school students, especially up to Year 7, and I am also comfortable supporting students up to Year 10. I focus on building strong fundamentals and helping students understand concepts clearly rather than memorizing.
I am patient, approachable, and take the time to explain things in a simple and structured way. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to suit their pace and needs.
Having recently returned to consistent Math practice alongside my university studies, I am highly motivated and committed to delivering clear, effective, and supportive lessons. I am committed to continuous improvement to ensure I provide the best support to my students.

My lessons are focused on helping students understand concepts clearly through a step-by-step approach. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s level and pace, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
I typically structure lessons around reviewing schoolwork, identifying problem areas, and practising similar questions to strengthen understanding. I also help with homework, revision, and exam preparation where needed.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but I can adjust the duration depending on the student’s needs. I teach primary and junior high school students, especially those who want to improve their fundamentals or need extra support.
As a UNSW Software Engineering student, I have a strong foundation in Maths and problem-solving, and I aim to make learning simple, structured, and effective.
I offer both online and in-person lessons depending on what works best for the student. For online sessions, I use simple tools like screen sharing and worked examples to explain concepts clearly.
