About Umar
Hello! My name is Umar, and I am passionate about helping students learn and grow. I enjoy teaching because it allows me to share knowledge, build confidence, and support students in reaching their goals. My teaching approach focuses on helping students clearly understand concepts rather than simply memorising formulae. I break down complex topics in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry into simple steps and guide students through problem-solving methods. I encourage students to ask questions and develop confidence in their learning.
My lessons are usually 60 minutes long, but they can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. During lessons, I explain key concepts, work through examples together, and provide practice questions to strengthen understanding.
I have a strong academic background with a BSc in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently studying MSc Welding Engineering at Cranfield University.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students who need help with homework, exam preparation, or improving their understanding of science and mathematics.
