About Cameron
About Me:
I have had a passion for the life sciences for many years now. I grew up in London and did Pre-U and A-levels so I understand the system very well. I graduated from Oxford with a 1st class integrated masters in Biochemistry and am now working on a PhD in protein engineering here in Oxford. I have tutored many students in London and Oxford as well as mentoring Oxbridge applicants. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, climbing and travelling!
About the lessons:
I believe that students learn best when they are comfortable and when the subject matter is organised clearly. I like to take time to understand which areas a student needs to work on and to make organised lesson plans so that students can see their progress through the material. In my lessons, I typically go over previous material to help consolidate information, I will then explore a new topic in general with a student and then I use example questions to engage with the topic. At GCSE and A-Level, exam technique is crucial and I take time to teach students good technique as well as the content material as I believe this makes all the difference.
