About Mariela
Hello! My name is Mariela, I am 19 years old and originally from Spain, currently living in the United States. I have been here for about 6 months, and I am a friendly, responsible, and highly motivated person who is excited to start helping students succeed in their learning.
Growing up in Spain, Spanish is my native language, and I feel very comfortable helping younger students improve their understanding in a clear and patient way. I really enjoy working with children and creating a positive environment where they feel supported and confident.
Outside of tutoring, I play soccer, which has helped me develop discipline, teamwork, and strong communication skills. I bring that same positive energy and dedication into my lessons.
My English is not perfect yet, but I communicate well and see this experience as a great opportunity to continue improving my English while helping students learn. As someone close in age to my students, I can often explain topics in a relatable and easy-to-understand way.
My goal is to make learning less stressful and more enjoyable while helping students build strong academic foundations. I am very motivated to grow as a tutor and to give my best in every lesson.

My teaching style is patient, friendly, and adapted to each student’s needs. I focus on creating a positive environment where children feel comfortable learning and asking questions.
