About Tima
I remember how confusing some topics can feel at school, so I try to explain things in a way that feels less stressful and more easy to follow.
I’m patient, easy to talk to, and I don’t mind going over things as many times as needed until it clicks. I know everyone learns differently, so I always try to adapt my approach to the student.
I mainly focus on primary school maths and English (KS1–KS2), helping with confidence, homework and exam prep when needed.

My lessons are pretty relaxed and easygoing. I focus on helping students actually understand what they’re doing in maths and English, not just memorising stuff for the sake of it.
I usually start by figuring out what they’re struggling with, then we go through it step by step in a way that makes sense for them. I don’t rush anything if they don’t get it, we just break it down again in a different way.
I try to make it a space where they feel comfortable asking questions, even if they think it’s “stupid” or they’re behind.
I can help with:
* Primary maths (times tables, fractions, basics, problem solving)
* English (reading, spelling, grammar, writing)
* Homework support
* SATs prep / general KS1–KS2 help
My main goal is just to help them feel more confident and thrive in school.
