About Olivia
I started tutoring in 2015, while still in college. Since then, I have worked for three tutoring companies and also had my own private tutoring business for much of that time. My Bachelor's degree is in psychology, and I also have a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I considered pursuing a degree in math, but I realized my true passion lies in teaching and working with others!

I will gladly tutor most ages, from elementary math through calculus. I utilize a person-centered approach -- success in tutoring isn't measured by how well I can explain something, but how well the student can understand it. I can meet for homework help alone, or for ongoing skills practice or test prep. For the latter two, I usually begin lessons by reviewing homework and then introduce a new topic. We will work together to constantly re-evaluate your needs and adjust our sessions accordingly.
