About Elaine
I have been teaching French since 1999, mainly key stages 3-5 in secondary schools but I have also considerable experience teaching adults French from beginners to advanced level in the Further Education sector. Recently I have started teaching French (and EFL) privately. I enable my students to achieve their potential in public exams and even more importantly I instil in them a passion for French language & culture.

Each of my lessons cover at least two of the four skill areas. I like to develop good spoken and listening skills as they are paramount to achieving good outcomes when learning languages. I tend also each lesson to focus on simplifying an aspect of French grammar and, by making a useful comparison with English grammar, my students' reading/writing accuracy improves considerably.
