About Jon
I am a friendly, patient and hardworking Math tutor who enjoys helping younger students understand Math and feel more confident in their learning. I have over two years of tutoring experience, explaining concepts, helping students with their schoolwork, and preparing practice activities. I understand that every student learns differently, so I try to explain ideas clearly and in different ways when needed. I am reliable, encouraging and always aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while they learn.

I provide friendly and personalised online Maths lessons for students in Years 2–6. I help students understand their current schoolwork, strengthen areas they find difficult, and build confidence through clear explanations and practice questions. Lessons are usually 60 minutes and are prepared around each student’s needs. I have gained over 2 years of experience with tutoring, working with students and explaining Maths concepts. I aim to make lessons encouraging, easy to understand and enjoyable.

Details
The first lesson is completely FREE as a 30-minute trial. This gives the student and parent a chance to see if my tutoring style is a good fit. After the free trial, lessons will be $20 per 60-minute lesson, with payment made after each lesson. All lessons will be held online using Google Meet, allowing us to work through questions, schoolwork and practice activities together.
