About Aiden
Hello! My name is Aiden, and I am a student tutor who works with elementary, middle, and high school students in math.
I have experience tutoring in person and online. For in-person tutoring, I joined a tutoring group at my school, and for online tutoring, I have numerous hours of experience on another platform.

My lessons are primarily for elementary, middle, and high school students. I also work with students who need help with organization, study skills, confidence-building, or learning differences such as ADHD-related academic struggles.
My approach as a tutor is centered around clarity, patience, and building confidence. I focus on breaking complex concepts into smaller, manageable parts and guiding students step by step through the learning process.
My teaching style is supportive, interactive, and adaptable to each student’s needs. I often use guided questioning, examples, discussion, and practice problems to help students actively think through the material rather than passively receive information.
A typical lesson usually begins with identifying the student’s current challenges or goals. From there, we review concepts together, work through examples step by step, practice independently with support, and end by reviewing what was learned and what still needs reinforcement. I also adjust pacing depending on the student’s comfort level and learning style.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my focus on making students feel comfortable and capable while still challenging them to improve. Many students struggle not only academically, but also with confidence, overwhelm, or frustration. I try to create an environment where students feel supported, understood, and encouraged to ask questions without fear of judgment.
