About Freya
My fascination with French began when I first explored its elegant sound and rich literary tradition. This interest encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in French Language and Literature, where I studied grammar, communication, and cultural history. Over the past 5 years, I have helped many students improve their French skills and gain confidence in the language.
I believe language learning should feel interactive and motivating. My teaching approach focuses on conversation practice, practical exercises, and clear explanations. Every student has different goals, so I adapt lessons to match their pace and interests. Some learners focus on conversational fluency, while others want stronger academic language skills.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French books and learning about the cultures of French-speaking communities. These experiences allow me to bring authentic examples into my lessons. Teaching French is fulfilling because I see students become confident communicators who enjoy using the language.

My French lessons focus on helping students build confidence in speaking and understanding the language through clear and practical learning. Beginners begin with pronunciation practice, common greetings, and useful phrases that appear in everyday conversation. Listening activities help learners become familiar with the rhythm and sound of French. Through guided dialogues, students begin speaking the language early in their learning journey.
As students continue learning, lessons introduce verb conjugation, sentence structure, and expanded vocabulary. Reading short texts allows learners to improve comprehension and discover how French is used in different situations. Writing exercises help students practice forming clear sentences while applying grammar rules correctly. Supportive feedback helps learners understand mistakes and continue improving.
My goal is to make French learning meaningful and engaging. Lessons also include cultural topics that introduce traditions and everyday life in French-speaking regions. Over time students develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing French. The language becomes a valuable tool for communication, travel, and education.
