About Jack
I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Birmingham City University. During my first year I achieved a 1st in two modules, including an exceptional 1st in a Maths and Design exam where I scored 92%. This contributed to me finishing the year with a 2:1 and I continued to produce similar results into my second year, obtaining a 2:1 overall.I obtained three A-Levels in Maths, Physics and Art at Dame Alice Owen. I am very logically-minded but I also enjoy painting and drawing in my free time. I have almost 5 years experience working with children, both as a lifeguard and swim teacher. Physical fitness is another passion of mine, having always played in football teams.

My teaching method is to create a friendly yet professional learning environment, remaining patient and kind at all times. Having been tutored myself, I understand the importance of a calm and friendly tutor. I am punctual, reliable and passionate about young people achieving their optimum. My first session with the student will allow me to assess what level they're working at and their confidence level. My timetable is extremely flexible to provide as much or as little tutoring as my client sees fit.
