About Francis
I am Francis McCann, a 21 year old student at Lancaster University. I have enjoyed tutoring for a while now as being able to help other people succeed in what I am passionate about brings me great satisfaction. I aim to help my students feel at ease when learning in order to create a more productive learning environment and to encourage the student to ask if they need help.

I have been tutoring a number of GCSE maths students for over a year now. I focus on establishing the baseline level for students and then going through topics lesson by lesson with an emphasis on exam style questions. Lessons are usually an hour once a week but longer or more frequent lessons can be arranged. My current students are very pleased with their progress and also feel comfortable being tutored in a relaxed manner by a younger student. I am also open to offering Spanish lessons, the style of the lesson can be discussed with each student depending on the goals of the student.
