About Meshack
My name is Meshack, and I am a highly committed and professional mathematics tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering and a Master’s degree in Finance, qualifications that require a high level of mathematical rigour, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability. I approach tutoring with patience, structure, and clarity. I understand that many students struggle with mathematics not because they lack ability, but because they have not yet been taught in a way that suits how they learn. My role is to create a supportive and respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and steadily improving. I am reliable, well-prepared for every lesson, and committed to maintaining high professional standards. I take time to understand each student’s goals, strengths, and challenges, and I adapt my teaching accordingly. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s level, attention span, and learning goals. Lessons are structured to include a brief review of previous work, introduction of new content, guided practice, and independent practice with feedback. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering and a Master’s degree in Finance, with a strong academic foundation in mathematics, statistics, and analytical problem-solving. I have experience supporting students at different levels, including primary, secondary (KCSE, IGCSE, A-Level), and introductory university mathematics, and I am comfortable adapting my teaching style to suit different curricula and learning styles. My lessons are suitable for students of all levels and ages, from upper primary through secondary school to university foundation courses, as well as adult learners who wish to strengthen their quantitative skills.
