About Sherley
I am a dedicated and professional GCSE Maths tutor with extensive experience supporting students through the UK GCSE curriculum. My approach is structured, reliable, and tailored to each individual learner, ensuring that every student receives clear explanations, focused guidance, and consistent support.
I specialise in helping students build strong foundations in Maths while developing the confidence and exam technique required for success. Lessons are carefully planned and aligned with exam board requirements, with an emphasis on problem-solving, accuracy, and understanding rather than rote learning. My tutoring approach is student-centred, structured, and focused on building both confidence and strong exam technique. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, which allows enough time to explain concepts thoroughly, practise questions, and address any difficulties. Shorter or longer sessions can be arranged if needed. Each lesson is well-planned, interactive, and focused on measurable progress.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE Maths students (ages 14–16), including both Foundation and Higher tiers. I also support students preparing for mock exams, resits, or those who want to improve confidence and consistency in Maths through personalised online tutoring.
