My English Literature lessons are designed to bring reading, interpretation, and critical thinking to life. Each session goes beyond simply studying texts — we explore the themes, characters, historical contexts, and literary techniques that shape great works of literature. Whether we’re analysing a Shakespearean tragedy, a modern novel, or a poem rich with imagery, I guide students to look deeper and understand why writers make the choices they do. I use discussion-based learning, close-reading strategies, essay-writing support, and exam-focused practice to help students develop clear, confident analytical voices. Students learn how to express their ideas effectively, support arguments with textual evidence, and appreciate literature from multiple perspectives.
