About Nicola
Hi, I'm Nicola! I'm a current first year Mathematics undergraduate at the University of Nottingham! I know that while rewarding, Maths can be a very challenging subject so I'm here to help! I love all numerical problems and believe that Maths should be fun to learn, no matter the difficulty of the topic.

I have experience helping out KS3 students, and this involved explaining pre-existing problems, re-covering content and creating new questions. I believe that I am a great tutor because having recently completed my A levels and GCSEs, I know what it's like to be in this situation and can therefore offer a very compassionate approach to students, and give effective guidance on how to best progress.
In my lessons, I like to adopt a very student-orientated approach where I assess the level of each student and create a tailored plan based on their goals and objectives. I assess the progress of my students on a regular basis and make sure that the student is getting what they want out of their lessons. I'm very approachable and adaptable so I love my students to give me feedback on their preferred teaching style, so that I can help them as best as possible.
