About Nauman
Heya there! My name is Nauman Akhlaq, I went to Dr Challoner's Grammar School in Amersham (did my GCSE + A-Levels there), and then studied Theoretical Physics at Imperial College London. I recently finished my PhD in Particle Physics where I spent a lot of time in Japan :)!
I am passionate about teaching and I have been tutoring for over 10 years. I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, and have a wealth of experience and knowledge that I can share with my students.
I have a proven track record of success, with experience tutoring students from all backgrounds, ranging from students who want to move up a few grades, to students who have applied to prestigious universities like Oxford. I have experience in PAT entrance exam preparation, alongside personal statement drafting. I take on only a select few students to ensure that I can give them my undivided attention and help them reach their full potential. I also hold interests in logic and philosophy, which I believe are critical to gaining a deep understanding of any subject.

I teach A-Level maths, further maths, and physics. I also take students from GCSE and undergraduate level. I take a highly personalised approach to tutoring, understanding that each student has a unique learning style. I will work with you to craft a customised study plan that is tailored to your specific needs and provide you with the tools and resources you need to succeed.
I will focus on teaching you how to think critically, solve problems and apply the knowledge, not just memorising facts. As we are dealing with mathematical subjects and practice makes perfect, I recommend 2 hour lessons for everything to sink in properly. However 1 hour lessons can also work, and I am willing to accommodate student needs.
I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can achieve their goals. I will be your mentor and guide, encouraging you to achieve more than you ever thought possible. I will give you the tools and resources you need to succeed, but I will also be there to continuously support you.
