About Sofia
Hi! I am a fourth year French studies student at the University of Nottingham. I have lived in France, and spent a year teaching languages in Paris, to children of all ages and backgrounds. I love reading, running, swimming and animals!

I have been studying French and French culture for 10 years now, taking it at GCSE, A Level, and now degree, so I understand exactly what the exam boards are looking for to get the best possible grade. I’m very patient and love helping other students achieve their language goals. Everyone learns differently and at their own pace which is why I curate my teaching approach to focus on creating customised lesson plans accordingly, to suit every individual. I am especially experienced in tutoring children with dyslexia, with experience and a nuanced understanding of the resources and techniques to help neurodivergent children learn languages.
