About Serena
My interest in French language and culture began during my early studies when I discovered how expressive and rich the language could be. This curiosity led me to pursue a Master’s Degree in French Language Education, where I studied teaching methods, grammar systems, and cultural communication. During the past 7 years, I have worked with many learners who wanted to improve their ability to speak and understand French.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and consistent encouragement. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas without pressure. Each lesson is adapted to match the student’s learning pace and personal goals. Some learners want to travel or communicate socially, while others want stronger academic language skills.
Outside teaching, I continue reading French literature, watching French films, and exploring cultural traditions connected to the language. These experiences help me bring authentic examples into my lessons. Teaching French is rewarding because I see students gradually become confident communicators who enjoy using the language in meaningful ways.

As students develop stronger foundations, lessons include deeper grammar topics such as verb conjugations, descriptive vocabulary, and longer conversations. Reading short passages helps learners improve comprehension and expand vocabulary naturally. Writing exercises allow students to practice expressing ideas clearly in French. I provide supportive feedback that helps students learn from mistakes and gradually improve accuracy.
My goal is to help students enjoy the process of learning a new language. Each lesson encourages curiosity about French culture, expressions, and communication styles. Over time learners gain stronger listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities. French becomes not only a subject they study but also a language they can use confidently in real-life situations.
