About Louis
Hello everybody,
I'm Louis, I'm 24 years old, I'm from Angers in France, a city located in the northwest of France, I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in sports management.
I'm currently studying at a university in Pittsburgh thanks to a sports scholarship in athletics, a sport I've been practicing for 6 years now.
As a pure French speaker, I'm here to help you progress at your own pace, as French is a very hard language to learn but also very elegant once mastered.
There's no pressure and no shame in trying to speak a foreign language, and I know what I'm talking about with English.

As a tutor providing instruction in French, I aim to create a dynamic and effective learning experience for my students. Here's an overview of my approach:
Teaching Method and Techniques:
Personalized Learning: I believe in tailoring my teaching approach to each student's individual needs, goals, and learning style. This ensures that students progress at their own pace and focus on areas where they need improvement.
Interactive and Communicative Approach: I emphasize communication skills from the very beginning. This means that my lessons prioritize speaking and listening comprehension, enabling students to use French in real-life situations.
Grammar and Vocabulary: While communication is crucial, I also provide a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary to help students understand the language structure and expand their linguistic range.
Cultural Context: Learning a language goes beyond grammar and vocabulary; it involves understanding the culture. I incorporate cultural elements into lessons to provide a holistic understanding of the language and its context.
Technology Integration: I utilize various online resources, language learning platforms, and multimedia tools to make lessons engaging and interactive.
Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson plan with me might include the following components:
Warm-up: We start with a brief conversation or activity to set the tone for the lesson and review previous material.
New Material: I introduce new vocabulary and grammar concepts, often accompanied by examples and exercises.
Practice: We engage in interactive activities such as role-playing, dialogues, or listening comprehension exercises to reinforce the newly acquired knowledge.
Cultural Insight: I might incorporate a cultural element, like discussing a French film or current event, to help students connect with the language in a real-world context.
Homework and Feedback: I assign homework tailored to the student's level and needs. I provide constructive feedback on their progress to ensure continuous improvement.
Review: We conclude the lesson by reviewing what we've covered and discussing any questions or challenges the student may have.
What Sets Me Apart:
Personalization: I prioritize understanding my students' goals and adapting my teaching methods accordingly.
Engaging and Interactive: I believe that learning should be enjoyable. I use a variety of resources and activities to keep lessons engaging and dynamic.
Cultural Emphasis: I go beyond language instruction and provide insights into French culture, which helps students develop a deeper connection with the language.
Flexible Scheduling: I offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate students' busy lives.

My lessons are suitable for a wide range of learners, including:
