About Marine
Bonjour ! My name is Marine, I'm French and I have been living in Dublin since July 2023. I have a master's degree in education and teaching, and I have 4 years of experience teaching English to French students. Now I use my teaching skills to teach my own language to English speakers. I believe the best way to learn a language is through speaking it and having fun doing so! I pride myself on always making sure my students are comfortable and enthusiastic during lessons. I do this by offering dynamic and engaging lessons that fully align with the learner's abilities, needs and goals.
I can teach learners of all levels and all ages, as I have experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults (including people requiring special accommodations). I mainly focus on speaking and conversation but of course my lessons also include listening, writing and reading.
Most of the material used in lessons are in relation to French culture, because learning a language is also learning about the culture of the people who speak it, and I am always very happy and excited to share my culture with learners.
Lessons can run from 30 min to 1h depending on your preference/needs.
