About Maya
Hi! I am currently a student at Longwood University in Virginia. I am a French major. I recently returned home from a semester-long study abroad program in Paris, France, where I lived with an only French speaking host family, attended a French university, and explored France and its culture. I am here to help anyone who wants to learn or improve their French, either for a class or personal interest. I believe that learning a language is important for everyone as it fosters personal growth and greater awareness of our world!

I do not move on unless a student understands and feels confident! I am here for any questions about the language, grammar, and culture. I know what it is like to be in a French class at the middle, high, and college level, and I have experienced many different teaching styles. I never want anyone to feel ridiculed or as if they are unable to learn a language! We are in this together!
