About Luca
I am a 27 years old, French native speaker, teaching at Columbia University. With a degree in Philosophy and an in-depth knowledge of french literature, latin and greek.
I have taught French all across Europe : France, Italy and even Bulgaria. And I have taught at very different levels and to a wide variety of people : middle and high school students, college students, businessmen and women, or just people who are curious about French.
I have always loved the diversity of the people I met while teaching !

Approaches and methods vary from student to student, taking into account your level and expectations. But the core of the lesson is based on grammar and conversation : the best way to learn a language efficiently. And yet easily !
Usually, every lesson begins with grammar (for example, the 'imparfait') and then continues with conversation and cultural content (reading a text by a specific french author or talking about an important event of the french history, for example).
This is the way I have myself learned numerous languages (english, italian, a little bit of german, and even latin and greek) and subsequently taught many students. But methods and content are always open to discussion !
