About Elise
I have been passionate about French language and culture since my teenage years. This passion inspired me to earn a B.A. in French Studies followed by an M.A. in French Linguistics, equipping me with a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of the language. Over the past 8 years, I have taught students of all levels—from beginners eager to learn conversational phrases to advanced learners preparing for academic or professional challenges. My experience includes designing personalized lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles, incorporating interactive activities, multimedia resources, and culturally immersive exercises to enhance engagement and retention. My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, encouragement, and cultural immersion. I strive to create a warm and supportive environment where learners feel confident experimenting with the language, asking questions freely, and embracing mistakes as opportunities for growth. I emphasize conversational practice and real-life scenarios to make lessons practical and enjoyable while reinforcing grammar and vocabulary.
