About Vanessa
My interest in French began through a fascination with languages, culture, and international communication. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages before earning a Master’s Degree in French Communication Studies. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with learners from different backgrounds and proficiency levels.
I enjoy helping students discover that language learning can be both rewarding and enjoyable. My teaching style focuses on encouragement, patience, and adapting lessons to suit individual learning preferences. Every student receives support that helps them progress comfortably and effectively.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring French literature, film, and cultural traditions from French-speaking communities around the world. These interests help me bring authentic perspectives into lessons. Watching students gain confidence and fluency continues to inspire my work as an educator.

My French lessons are designed to help students build strong communication skills through a clear and structured learning approach. Topics such as verb conjugation, sentence formation, pronunciation, listening comprehension, reading skills, vocabulary expansion, and conversational fluency are taught using practical exercises and real-life examples. I focus on helping learners communicate confidently rather than relying only on memorisation.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s individual goals, interests, and language level. Students improve through guided conversations, listening activities, reading practice, and written exercises that strengthen understanding step by step. As confidence grows, learners become more comfortable expressing themselves in a variety of situations.
I create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to practice and participate actively. Language learning becomes more enjoyable when learners can see their progress clearly. My goal is to help students develop confidence, fluency, and a genuine appreciation for the French language.
