About Maya
My interest in French began through a fascination with languages, literature, and international cultures. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in French Language Studies and pursue a career in language education. Over the last 3 years, I have helped students strengthen their communication skills and cultural understanding.
I believe language learning should be practical, engaging, and encouraging. My teaching approach focuses on helping students gain confidence through meaningful communication and consistent practice. I enjoy creating lessons that are tailored to the needs and goals of each learner.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring cultural traditions, and following developments in language learning. These interests help me bring authenticity and variety into lessons. Supporting students as they achieve greater fluency and confidence continues to inspire me as an educator.

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate effectively while developing a strong understanding of the language. We focus on pronunciation, vocabulary building, grammar development, listening comprehension, reading practice, and conversational fluency through interactive and practical activities. Every lesson encourages active participation and real language use.
As learners gain confidence, we explore authentic conversations, cultural topics, advanced sentence structures, idiomatic expressions, and everyday communication scenarios. Lessons include discussions, listening tasks, roleplays, and guided speaking exercises that help students use French naturally. Activities are adapted to individual learning goals and interests.
I create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes as part of the learning process. My goal is to help learners become confident French speakers who can communicate clearly and naturally. Every lesson supports steady progress and long-term language growth.
