About Raphael
I am a very active and sporty person (football, volleyball, trail running, skiing), and I have always successfully balanced my studies with my hobbies. This has taught me discipline, organization, and consistency—skills that I bring into my tutoring.
Tutoring is a real pleasure for me as I love sharing my knowledge and helping others improve. This probably came as I was raised surrounded by teachers in my family such as my mom who is a math teacher.
As a French engineering graduate (Master’s degree from Chimie Paris – PSL) currently at the University of Auckland, I offer a serious, structured, and professional approach. I am reliable, patient, and committed to helping students progress with confidence and achieve their academic goals. Hi! I’m a French engineering graduate (Master’s degree from Chimie Paris – PSL) currently completing an internship at the University of Auckland.
My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations and deep understanding. I aim to help students become autonomous and confident, especially for exams. I adapt each lesson to the student’s needs starting by listening to the problematics and expectations of the student.
A typical lesson lasts between 1 hour and 2 hours.
I have previous experience in private tutoring in France, helping students improve their results and confidence.
I offer lessons in Math, Physics, Chemistry (up to NCEA Level 3) and French (all levels, native speaker), for high school students or anyone wanting to.
