About Sophie
I am a 26-year-old graduate of the University of Reading. After graduating in 2019, I moved to France to become an English Language Assistant, preparing and delivering English lessons to French primary school children. I also worked as a tutor for a 15-year-old student who was preparing for his examinations.
Having returned home in March 2020, I became a maths and English tutor, working with students aged 3-16. During this time I have been studying for and have recently completed, an MA in Translation at the Open University.

My lessons offer a structured, engaging and supportive learning environment. I tailor the lesson to the needs of each individual student, adapting them where necessary to help them achieve their academic goals.
My lessons typically last 1 hour, however, this can be altered if necessary. I have been a tutor for the past 3.5 years and have experience working with a variety of different age groups.
I can provide lessons for all ages, from beginner level up to GCSE.
