About Paul
My name is Paul and I am from France. I used to work as a rocket engineer and then went cycling for 9 months across Europe and Asia. I am very curious and am currently trying a lot of different jobs to broaden my skills. I enjoy working with other people to reach our/their goals!
I studied engineering in one of France's top "Grandes Écoles", and hold a Master's degree and an engineering degree. I also studied abroad for a year at the University of Cambridge, UK. While studying I was also involved in several societies: I played saxophone in the brass-band, I was part of the rowing team and the media association... I love sport, music, cooking and am interested in a lot of concepts related to sustainability such as permaculture, low-tech, food management, etc.

Depending on the needs of the student, I usually base myself on what is done in class and start from there. I obviously welcome any questions and focus on the topics with which the student is less comfortable. I like giving tips which helped me when I was myself learning the same things. It's important to redo some previous exercises and I also invent new ones to practice each topic and make sure it has been understood fully.
The duration of the classes depends on each student but usually last between 1 and 2 hours. I prefer teaching in person but I am open to provide online lessons as well.
During all my engineering studies, I gave private tutoring in maths and science (physics/chemistry) to primary school and high school students. I also helped university students with their French while I was studying in the UK.
