About Adama
I am Adama Alie, a fourth-year student at ECU studying a Bachelor of Education (Secondary), majoring in English. I am passionate about teaching because I love helping students unlock their potential and gain confidence in their learning. I enjoy working with students of all abilities, particularly those who face additional challenges, as I find it rewarding to see them make progress and develop skills that will benefit them long-term. Teaching allows me to combine my love of English with my commitment to creating supportive, engaging, and structured learning environments where every student feels valued and capable of success.

I focus on breaking tasks down into manageable steps, building confidence, and supporting students in developing strong skills in reading, writing, creating and organisation. I am particularly mindful when working with students who have special needs, such as Autism, ADHD, or challenges with written expression, adapting lessons to be engaging, clear, and supportive. My goal is to create a safe and encouraging learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, practice skills at their own pace, and achieve tangible progress. I provide student-centred instruction to help each learner reach their full potential.
