About Sarah
I enjoyed math and science at school and loved tutoring my peers as well. My family has experience as research chemists and teachers so I was inspired to combine the two and teach science and math. I formed meaningful connections with some of my teachers in high school and would love to create that with my students too. I have enjoyed doing this on my teaching placements and with my tutoring students.

I have adopted an individual based pedagogy, adapting lesson content, lesson length and rate of learning to each student. - I know the same thing doesn't work for everyone. I have experience tutoring grade 9 and 12 maths and year 12 chemistry and love seeing students find enjoyment as well as success. The lessons will include breaks and usually progress through warmups, revision, the main content and talking about next time. My aim is always to improve the confidence of the student by showing them how capable they are, especially since science and maths are subjects where students often feel incapable.
