About Christie
I am currently working full time at a bank in the product and technology space with a Bachelor degree in Commerce/ Information Systems as well as having completed my CFA Level 1.
I came from one of the top 5 selective schools and did 4U maths, 3U english, Chemistry and Economics.
I achieved a 93 score in 4U maths.

I believe that maths requires a certain type of logical thinking and foundational skills. You cannot be spoon fed maths - being good at maths comes from understanding how to tackle the question.
Therefore my focus student group is year 7-10 because these are the years where you need to build those skills before you move onto another tutor that is focused on 3U/4U maths specifically.
I privately tutored both English and Maths for 3 years during uni. All students proceeded to do either 3 or 4 unit maths.
Student needs to be willing to put in the work, it takes 2 to tango.
Tutoring lessons should be for an hour but this can be negotiated depending on the level of assistance you are hoping for.
