About Azra
I am a former professional tutor that worked for a popular tutoring company. After seeing the problems with group tutoring, I have decided to pursue one-on-one tutoring. Since then, I have seen real-world victories of my students mastering a language and gaining confidence in English, reading, and writing. I have also worked as a beta reader for writers where I was hired to give my thoughts and opinions on books prior to their publication. My goal is for my students to get better, and seeing their improvement instills joy and pride in me.

As a former tutor and early years reading worker I believe that an individualized approach is the best approach. Whether it's a young child learning to read for the first time , a child working on proficiency or an adult looking to increase their reading skills I believe that an individualized approach is best.
Each lesson will be consisted of:
1. Going over homework and anything that stood out
2. Listening and working with the student as they read
3. Work on strategies and exercises
4. Go over the assignment's/homework assigned before next lesson
Lastly Homework is meant to be supplemental and the load will be adjusted to best fit the students needs.
