About Natasha
I will be attending college in the fall and have a heart and passion for writing and literature. I was in Speech and Debate for two years and placed at Original Oratory tournaments, which require writing seven to ten-minute long speeches. I took a Creative Writing class at Palm Beach State college as a sophomore in high school, AP English Literature and Composition, AP Language, and IB English 4. I was inducted into the National English Honor Society, of which I was a member for two years. I had three articles selected for the school newspaper as a senior taking journalism, and I also published a piece in my high school’s literary magazine, Syzygy.

I know how difficult it can be for students to convey their thoughts into words, so I would advise them to analyze written works chronologically and take into account the time, place, and background in the author. There are so many different types of essays, like rhetorical analyses or syntheses, so I would also encourage students to grow comfortable with the respective rubrics and would analyze the works of others’ essays alongside them so they can gather the strength and courage to successfully do it on their own.
