About Ceri
I am a former newspaper journalist and English Language Teacher with 15 years experience in both fields. I have taught in-house business English in Buenos Aires, Paris and Madrid, as well as working as a senior teacher at Devon School of English for several years on a temporary basis. Classes and one-to-to ones. My background includes Acadamic English, IELTS and general English.

My classes are intuitive and based on the needs of the student, so I like to spend time understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each student, as well as their specific requirements, before presenting the content. As a rule, I like to take real life situations, preferably with a visual focus. So if it’s a business one to one focussing on pitches/presentations, I may include Youtube clips and listening, using some external stimulus. I like to mix my resources but my current favourite business text book for example, is Market Leader.
